MidCamp 2020 is in the bag, and what a whirlwind it was. Over the course of 10 days our volunteer organizers and speakers worked tirelessly to pivot our usual in-person format to 100% virtual, and it wouldn’t have been possible without every single one of you who joined us.
Due to the worldwide Coronavirus/COVID-19 response and in consideration of the health of our community, we have reconsidered the implications of moving forward with business as usual for MidCamp. Fortunately, we have the tools and ability to share our information in a remote manner, and as such we’re moving MidCamp to a 100% remote format this year. There’re many details to work out, but our aim is to deliver the same quality content on the same schedule as we would have done in person.
As the fear of the Coronavirus spreads faster than the virus itself, the organizers of MidCamp have decided to be proactive in addressing some of the most common concerns about to the virus as it relates to events like MidCamp.
MidCamp is a community-driven event. Since we put a lot of effort on community, we want to make sure that we're giving the community the best event that we possibly can. If you attended MidCamp 2019 and you would like to help us improve both the camp and the website for next year, we would love your help.
