Description
Distributed ledger technologies, used to power cryptocurrencies like Ethereum and Bitcoin, have exploded in popularity. The underlying blockchain technology offers solutions to unique problems through decentralization and consensus.
Hyperledger is a series of open source projects hosted by The Linux Foundation that provide an enterprise alternative to cryptocurrency-based blockchains. In this session we'll explore building blockchains for enterprise using Hyperledger.
We will cover:
- What enterprise use cases are blockchains best suited for?
- What is Hyperledger?
- A sample application and network built with Hyperledger.
- How Drupal can fit within a Hyperledger network.
This session is for those who have an understanding of the core concepts of the blockchain and smart contracts. You'll leave this session with an overview of the Hyperledger project and how to get started developing blockchains using Hyperledger.
