Clarity Partners is seeking an Inventory Analyst local to Chicago, IL. This is a fulltime opportunity on a large-scale client facing project. Seeking candidates flexible to report onsite as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide inventory, warehouse, and supply chain management consulting.
- Coordinate directly and often with client staff as the key team member in the warehouses.
- Recommend new inventory procedures based off industry best practices and existing operations.
- Create workflow processes for stock management, purchasing, and distribution within the supply chain and in the warehouse software.
- Prepare and conduct client facing meetings.
- Collect and standardize warehouse data for existing inventory on shelves before upload into warehouse management system.
- Oversee/monitor warehouse system information provided by warehouse staff.
- Conduct formal and informal training for management, finance, and warehouse staff.
- Develop training manuals for warehouse staff.
- Create new and update existing commodity codes for purchasing and warehouse use.
- Evaluate and recommend reports generated within warehouse system and Power BI.
- Complete basic development efforts in warehouse system including creating users, uploading locations, changing user settings, etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of related experience in warehouse management and/or supply chain processes.
- Understanding of warehouse and inventory management best practices and systems.
- Ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and experience to deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
- Aptitude to document and establish standards, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to learn and master new warehouse management systems.
- Problem-solving skills combined with analytical ability to analyze data, perform research, and diagnose issues that arise.
- Capability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams, including with business analysts and IT professionals from various backgrounds and experience levels.
